Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), Kenya is a member of the Chapter of OWIT International which was started in 1989 in the USA and has 23 Chapters globally. OWIT Kenya was established and launched by the US Embassy in April, 2001 As a membership Association whose mandate is to empower women to transform communities through global trade. This is fulfilled through four key objectives: Access to Markets, Access to Finance, Capacity Building and Mentorship.
